Happy Birthday, sweet boy!

Today is my sweet baby's birthday. Wait, can I still call him a baby? Do I have to refer to him as a toddler? I think not! I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I"m living, my baby you'll be.

Dear Larsen,

Two years old! Where has the time gone? Just yesterday I was hugely pregnant with you and so impatient to meet my beautiful baby. I woke up on my due date (sept 20) and was very discouraged that I was not going to get to meet my baby that day. Lo'and behold, at 1:45 p.m., my water broke....and boy did it break!! It kept breaking and breaking and breaking! lol! 14 hours later, on September 21 at 3:23 am, you came into the world. Wow, my world has never been the same since! You changed my life in a way that I never thought was possible. You are my miracle and I am in awe every day that I get to see you change and grow. You've changed from a little baby to a toddler, but you still are my cuddle baby. You love books and music. I love it when you get excited about things or I see your face explode into a smile. I think to myself, "Wow! My heart is so full that I think it might burst!" Larsen, you are such a bright little boy. You can count to 15, name all of your shapes, and speak in 2-3 word sentences. Right before my eyes, you've become your own little person. It is amazing. I know that no matter what else happens in my life, I've already achieved the greatest thing in the world...having you as my son. I love you.
