but I'm still going to blog about the yummy dessert I made for Memorial Day. I was in a rush and forgot to take a picture of it before I headed out to a get together. Here's the recipe!
Butterfinger Cake
You will need:
Yellow cake mix
Cool Whip
3-4 Butterfinger candy bars
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar caramel topping
Bake the cake according to directions. After cake is finished, poke holes in cake while it is still warm. Mix sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping together and pour it over the cake. **I only used about half of the milk/caramel mixture.
Crumble up candy bars and spread over cake. Refrigerate until cooled off a bit. Top with cool whip.
Result? Delicious!!!
Yum, i've never tried it that way, but it sounds good (I usually use choc cake mix, bake poke holes, pour caramel, top with cool whip then add candy bar. I like yellow cake better though, so i'm gonna try it your way :)
